“Flagstaff, poverty with a view. “ We all smiled the first time we heard this. The truth is it can be hard to make ends meet for many of our neighbors.  And if we are honest with ourselves, we realize  but for the grace of God it could be us. For the last two plus decades we have tried to do somethings to help.

That journey has lead us to believe that a lot of hard working folks struggles would be made a little easier if they had a place they could get a little  food when the days last longer than the paycheck.  A place where once a week if necessary they could come and select food right off the shelves to feed their family. A place that was open in the early evening, 3pm to 7pm five days a week,  including weekends, so they don’t have to choose between going to work or showing up to get a food box. A place where our 100% volunteer staff would treat everyone with dignity and respect and in return demand the same.

This will not be a shelter or a soup kitchen, we realize the homeless need help, but that is not who we will serve. This will be a place where people who have a place to live and prepare food can get a little help over the rough spots. It will be Flagstaff helping Flagstaff.

It may not look like much in this picture, but give us a little while and we believe we can create a hub of hope that can be a model for other communities. A place where neighbors help neighbors and problems become opportunities. If you’d like to be part of our newest effort send an email and your thoughts to fullcircletrade@gmail.com .
